I started teaching Czech about 10 years ago by accident because I know French. One French manager wanted to learn Czech, but not via English. So I got a chance to teach my mother tongue. There were more similar managers, so I became a Czech teacher. I enjoy looking at my mother tongue through the eyes of a foreigner and I enjoy helping foreigners communicate in the Czech environment. I really appreciate when people make effort to speak the language of the country in which they live. I consider it a courtesy. Students praise my patience and sincere interest in really teaching them something.
